Casey is a nick I've used for years. It was given to me by a group of internet friends who call me 'KC', for reasons far too obscure to bother about now. Feel free to use it or my real name, which is Carol.

I have started SP several times since I first joined in 2008. I've found that I do best when I track all my food. I have slipped repeatedly, but I have NOT quit. This time, I'm doing very well and I intend to make it all the way to my goal weight and health.

This time next year, I hope to be working on maintaining my goal weight. For now, though, it's one day at a time.

I prefer not to be serious, so if I say something that sounds odd to you, it is likely I was attempting to be witty. Feel free to ignore it. Most of my friends do.

Eating less, exercising more, drinking water. It sounds so simple, so why is it so hard?

I have a black belt in tae kwan do. I speak a few languages and live in Ecuador, though I am not Ecuadorian. You know, the usual.

I'm married and have two teen-aged kids who shouldn't see such a bad health example when they look at their mom.

I'm less than serious most of the time. I think.

Are You Master of Your Spark Domain?

Remember the Seinfeld Game? Remember how quickly Jerry, Kramer and Elaine all were out? Let's see if you can do better. Here is how it works.

Beginning midnight April 1, track. Track everything. Nutrition, water, exercise, the whole shebang. Don't track something, you are out. Fess up. Miss your 8 cups of water, out. Blow your calories, you are out. Fess up on this thread. Exercise without tracking, out. To make it fun, don't exercise at least one hour a week, out.

Once a week on Sundays (say), roll call for those who still are "in" and playing.

Deceptively simple, but it's not. Who's in? Starting roll call this Sunday. Ready, set, go!
