Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to ...
We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~ Marianne Williamson Welcome to my Spark page! Many people ask about the pictures here. I love to take photos, and my gallery has many of my favorites. The top picture is at the lake only 20 minutes from home in Saskatchewan Canada. I love biking and running these trails. The area is so peaceful and magnificently beautiful. The second picture is of Moraine Lake. It is located near Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta Canada. We've been there three times, and I absolutely am in love with it. It's a two day drive from here, or I'd be there more often. The third picture is of my favorite Spark friend, Trish, on the day we finally met in person. Shortly after I started here at SparkPeople, we met on a thread and started our own challenge together. A daily check-in proved invaluable to me, and her encouragement and motivation started me down the path to running. I owe alot to this woman, and love her to pieces. We have met in person twice so far, and are sure to be life-long friends.

My Program:
Helping others along the way in turn helps me. Lots of fruits and veggies, especially out of my garden! Running, walks, yoga, cross-country skiing, biking, swimming - Bring em all on! Before SparkPeople, I was a bona-fide couch potato, and could recite the lines from several tv shows! Now, if I'm in the room when the tv is on (because hubby is watching), I am on SP. Amazing Race is a show I still like to watch, but other than that, I'm not a couch potatoe anymore! Woohoo!! "LIFE IS GOOD " (thanks Wood for this always inspirational quote)
Personal Information:
I live in a beautiful valley, and enjoy all the outdoor activities I can fit in. In the summer, my garden is often where you'll find me in my spare time. In the winter, I'm at the rink or trying to fit in a cross-country ski outing. Year round, I like to run and bike, and take long walks in our valley. Our family farms crops of canola, barley, and wheat. I am very happily married, and have two wonderful sons.
