I am updating my page per instructions from SparkCoach. I started my latest journey with SP on February 4, 2013. Although I have been losing SLOWLY, still I have lost 13 pounds. PREVIOUS UPDATE
It is time to update my introduction! I first joined SP in January, 2009, but did not really get into it until July of 2009. I lost 23 pounds by the end of October that year. Unfortunately, I put my back out by raking leaves without pacing myself. (I guess 2 straight days of raking for 4-5 hours is not really good for you) Since that time 3 years ago I have managed to put back on the 20 pounds. My husband and I are retired and have been on several vacations. We love it, but I have managed to lose my motivation and have been making poor nutrition choices. I decided to do the South Beach diet because I know I can lose weight on this dies, and I know that I feel better avoiding the bad carbs. Today is February 4, 2013, the beginning of a new commitment for me.

My Goals:
Very simply: I want to feel comfortable in my body.

My Program:
I am tracking my food and staying between 1200-1350 calories a day.
I am going to aerobics 3 days a week and strength class 3 days a week. In addition, I am walking or biking several days a week.

Personal Information:
My husband and I are semi-retired, (we keep busy and work flexible part time jobs). We love the Patriots and traveling. We enjoy being on the beach, or hiking in the mountains. We have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. We feel blessed to have such a good life and such a wonderful family.

Thanks for reading my blog, yes I'm quite fast when I crochet hahaha I made a huge afghan bedspread for my mom once in less then a week hahaha.
I'd love to learn how to quilt, my MIL use to sew but now she has dementia and she's so frail I wish I had lived closer to her so she could of taught me to sew and quilt. good luck with your quilting!
