One step and one day at a time

Life has knocked me down a few times. It showed me things I never wanted to see. I experienced sadness and failures. But one thing for sure, I always get up! ~Unknown

Life has dealt me plenty of punches starting at the age of 5. I've had multiple surgeries and broken bones over the years but I will not let anything stop me from becoming a better me physically and mentally.

Spring 5% Challenge Commitment

Exercise at least 3 days per week

At least 1 day of some sort of relaxing activity lik yoga, tai chi or something else

My Goals:
I want to lose weight to be healthy primarily, feel better and have more energy. Of course I would like to look better as well.

My Program:
I am doing walking, boxing, yoga and whatever else I can or want to do or think of doing.

Eating a low carb diet - no bread and limiting how many carbs I eat from fruits and vegetables.


Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Colorado but moved to southern Missouri in 2005.

Other Information:
I love to read. I love to read anything that isn't predictable. My favorite author is Stieg Larsson. I like some Dean Koontz novels. I've read the Hunger Games trilogy and like the author. I'm currently reading Game Of Thrones the 2nd book A Clash of Kings.
