Getting back on track

I'm retired, living in rural Eastern Oklahoma with my son and five cats. Trying to get going on a exercise and diet program is hard, but I know that once I get started I can do it.

Basically, the plan of attack has been lose weight and exercise. Since 2010 I have dropped ten pounds, gained it back and am now losing again. I am exercising almost every day for a minimum of 15 minutes.

I have been diagnosed with Arthritis (not surprising since it runs in the family), ...

Basically, the plan of attack has been lose weight and exercise. Since 2010 I have dropped ten pounds, gained it back and am now losing again. I am exercising almost every day for a minimum of 15 minutes.

I have been diagnosed with Arthritis (not surprising since it runs in the family), mild Lupus, and minor kidney problems (also not surprising since I took high dosage Ibuprofin for several years).

I just want to enjoy playing on the computer, cheering on the Giants Baseball team, and being able to just schlep around.

Some blunders and
Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can." '

JESUS (the sweetest name I know) ~

His shed blood means we can live each day in His forgiveness.

His resurrection means we can walk constantly in newness of life.

His day of victory makes all our days complete!

Praying His Very Best Is Yours this Easter Season!

For in Him we live & move & have our being. ~ Acts 17:28 NIV

There will never be another act of love
so pure or triumph
so celebrated
as the humility of the cross
& the miracle of the empty tomb.

Bonnie Jensen

Have a wonderful time of rejoicing in the Resurrection!

Scarifying pulls out all the moss from the lawn, you can get electric machines with "teeth" that do the job and that's what our neighbour did for me, I raked the main lawn using a rake and it took 3 hours" He did the remaining two in 30mins!!!!

I really doubt if I would/could hit a coyote anyway, it's a small target and it's moving. I'm not what you would call a crack shot -- besides that I have a problem with depth perception due to the damage in my right eye. I would have to hope that a shot would scare the bejesus out of him/her and make it run off. If that didn't work -- eat me! (Kidding on that one).
