Taking Back the Waistline...

Hello to all who pass through this modest little corner of mine. I'm looking to kickstart my middle-aged metabolism and restore my waistline and I have 30 pound weight loss goal over the next few months. I may refine that 25 pounds down, will see how I feel when I get closer to goal!

I'm new to the SP site, still finding my way around the joint. I *love* the nutrition and fitness trackers - they keep me well motivated to plug along and make some headway in this journey. They have quickly become part of my daily routine, right along with my blogposting on my personal blogsite. It's all good.

I am encouraged and inspired by the folks on SP -- there are some absolutely amazing stories and testimonies on here! Keeps me in perspective and fully recognizing I can indeed accomplish that which I've set out to attain.

I look forward to interacting with fellow Sparkers on here, getting to know some new souls and hopefully being a support and encouragement to others in turn.

30 pounds down in 3 months is the mantra. Doable, surely. With determination and some focused, hard work.

Life's what we make it - I wanna make mine kaleidoscope! Here goes nothing...!

Caloric watch is primary! Also, getting active again... something I lost when I started commuting to work. Biking, walking, fitness regime w/hand weights. And yoga. Love yoga.
