Thanks for your comment on my blog. I just don't feel like all the hard work it took to get rid of the first 50, but know I have 30 more to go, so I am tracking fruit/veggie intake on the nutrition quick tracker and keeping up my fitness minutes. I think the change in mindset will help and I should be closer to my goal by winter again. Slower is not standing still, it's still progress and we can do it, even if it takes longer than first anticipated.

Thanks for your comment on my Self Hate blog. It's true, this weight loss thing is not a race. We have to commit ourselves to a new lifestyle, so even when we lose the 5 or 10 or 150 pounds we want to lose, we don't go back to our old ways. So what difference does it make how slowly the weight comes off anyway? When we are close to where we want to be, it's more of a battle with the numbers than in how we look or how we feel about ourselves. Of course there's always that fear lurking that those two pounds on the scale might lead to a regain of all the weight that was lost, and that helps keep me motivated too.

Thanks chicky! I definitely think losing baby weight is a little easier than those pesky last 10 pounds, but it's still hard work! :) And I am with you. I do want to be in a certain place by a certain time, but my goal was based on 1 pound a week, which has been pretty do-able (except for a few ups and downs!) It is more important to make lasting changes and do things you can stick with. We'll get there!

Haha thanks...that 19 pounds has been since mid-December though. Not to mention I've been recycling the same 4 pounds up and down for the last month or so too. emoticon I have about 10/15 pounds till I'm back to pre-pregnancy weight. I better hit that on or before August when she turns one! (Then I need to start on the 20 I needed to lose before pregnancy! emoticon ) All in all...still on track. Have a great day!
