I just want to fit into my stuff again
I used to be one of those obnoxious people who could eat anything and never gain weight. I couldn't gain weight when that was the goal even. It's not longer the case and now I really have to start paying more attention to what I eat and what I do. Other things - I'm in the process of doing a re-write on a book I hope to ultimately get published. Spiritually - I consider myself a non-denominational pagan. ;) I am seriously addicted to reading books. It's ...

Spiritually - I consider myself a non-denominational pagan. ;) I am seriously addicted to reading books. It's rare for me to be reading less than three books as a time. I am so addicted, that I recently decided to give in to the audiobook world. The 15 minute commute to work was just "free" time I wasn't reading.

My Goals:
The newest goal (as of 6-12-2013) : I just "ran" my first 5K on June 9th, 2013. Still going to PT to work on my knee problems (I have flexible knees and apparently that is one place it's not good to be so). Prior to the injury, I had just finished the C25K program and my best time (on the day of injury) was 48:14. I beat that time by a full minute on the 5K. I was hoping for 45, but was going to be okay with under 50 minutes. My new goal is to maintain my current weight range as well as trying to still work on some sort of strength/cardio training to maybe do the 5K again next year. -Or at least to out run zombies if it come to that.
My Program:
Tracking my food and workouts. Having PT once a week as that is what the budget allows. Trying to extend the amount of time I can live through a cardio workout.
Personal Information:
Married for 21 years. We have 3 boys. The oldest (age 25) is autistic and currently unemployed in part because of his severe depression. The middle son (affectionately called the boy) is 20 studying creative writing and music in college and just made Dean's List this past semester. The youngest is 7. Yes, we did forget how that happens. He loves camping, baseball, basketball, running around, reading, telling stories.
Other Information:
I have alternate realities in my head that I write about. If I could get something published, that would be wonderful, but unlikely. Still going to give it a try though.
