I just want to fit into my stuff again

I used to be one of those obnoxious people who could eat anything and never gain weight. I couldn't gain weight when that was the goal even. It's not longer the case and now I really have to start paying more attention to what I eat and what I do.

Other things - I'm in the process of doing a re-write on a book I hope to ultimately get published.

Spiritually - I consider myself a non-denominational pagan. ;)

I am seriously addicted to reading books. It's rare for me to be reading less than three books as a time. I am so addicted, that I recently decided to give in to the audiobook world. The 15 minute commute to work was just "free" time I wasn't reading.

My Goals:
The newest goal (as of 9-25-2014) :

I've managed to stay in goal range for a year, but I have jaw sugery coming up, so I've been trying to stay on the high side of the range.

Attempting the C25K program again. I hate running, but I hate that me knees make it almost impossible to run. If I quit running, I want it to be on my terms. Besides, I signed up for a zombie 5k and I'm scared to death of zombies, so I really have to get my time down so I'm tortured for a shorter amount of time. ;)

My Program:
Tracking my food and workouts.

Trying to extend the amount of time I can live through a cardio workout.

Start finding ways to give myself more time for writing.

Personal Information:
Married for 23 years. We have 3 boys.

The oldest (age 26) is autistic and recently found a job after being out of work for most of last year after a bout of severe depression.

The middle son (affectionately called the boy) is 22 and studying creative writing and music in college. He made the Dean's List spring and this past fall semester. But then to keep us on our toes, was put on academic probation. Hoping for a strong return in the fall.

The youngest is 9. Yes, we did forget how that happens. He loves camping, baseball, basketball, running around, reading, telling stories.

Other Information:
I have alternate realities in my head that I write about. If I could get something published, that would be wonderful, but unlikely. Still going to give it a try though.

I read. My husband says I'm addicted, but I could stop any time I wanted to. Not likely to happen in my lifetime.

Thank you so much for the welcome to the Book Club team! I really appreciate it. I saw that you write during NaNoWriMo. My daughter does that every November. I keep intending to, but so far have been too chicken! Looking foward to getting to know you better.

Yep, I do have an ancient house (by this country's standards, anyway.) The old part goes back to about 1798, the "new" part was built around 1856. Still, everyone, it seems, added a bit here and there or moved something around. It's a constant struggle, but I do love my old money pit...I mean farmhouse. emoticon

Thanks for the welcome to the book club team. I had to come investigate when I saw the comment below about 50 Shades. It reflected my thoughts about the book perfectly. Also, love your book list ideas for the year.

Just read your review of 50 shades on book club page~I'm so glad someone else hated it! I never even got to the sexy parts because I couldn't stand the writing and gave up after a chapter. It was like a 6th grader wrote it~haha! I appreciate all you do for the book club team :)
