Keep my good health. Improve my strength so I can keep up with our granddaughter ,DH & I can enjoy our retirement together and have a better round of golf.
I do Strength training every other day and I do my cardio everyday; walking outside at least 30 minutes or on the treadmill and elliptical for at least 30 minutes. I need to work on my flexibility which I am doing with Tai Chi ! Doing the exercise of the day from Sparkpeople.
I am from Eastern Ontario,happily married to the same man for 43years this year. I am the proud mother of one son ,one daughter and one son in-law.And the very proud Grandmother to a very sweet little girl who is 3 1/2 years old.
I enjoy being with and travelling witj my family and friends Doing Tai Chi ,golfing, reading ,love to find time to scrapbook.
Hey Erin; thanks for the goodie. Looks like the smoothie I had this morning. Recently acquired a vita mixer and absolutely love it. Had our 16 year old granddaughter stay with us for 5 days and we had so much fun, however, I pretty much blew my new resolve to stay on track. Erin; you are too funny noticing that I logged in today.It's been a long time. I figured I should get back to this site for accountability as I have gained a ton of weight since I retired from teaching. No more students to motivate me. Glad to see that you're out golfing and doing other activities. That hip must be doing well. Way to go girl. We have a new English Cocker named Mattie and she is adorable, so I'm a happy camper once again. Are you still puppysitting for your kids on occasion, or did you break down and get another one for yourselves? Susan
