Celeste'

Hi my name is Celeste'.
Sparks has taught me about calories and exercise which are a BIG part of fixing the problem. I did well with this.

However, this year I have to come in from a different angle, one where I dont let male compliments send me scurrying back to emotional safety of fat layers. I have to tell myself they are just that "compliments" not molestation proposals. Emotional scars run deep, but not so deep that they cant be fixed. Well Im hoping that statement ...

My Goals:
I only have two goals this year.

1) To arm myself against fear of being complimented and gaining the weight again.

2) Taking time for myself and making others responsible for themselves in every facit of life.

My Program:
I've changed to eating healthy foods.
Very much smaller portions but more often.

Personal Information:
I have happily been one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1975.
I live in a little but beautiful town called George in South Africa.
I moved here 20 years ago and want to live no where else.
I met my beloved husband here, and for me that rates George in my very good books.

Other Information:
I love learning new things esp relating to health.
I currently do iridology, reflexology, acupressure and massage therapy. My interest in medicine began when I nursed my younger sister till her death with colon cancer. Its a case of wish I knew then what I know now, but cant turn back the hands of time.

Good to hear from you Celest.

I certainly agree with you on this topic. I have seen many healings during my working years using Reflexology. I used this technique more often than other therapies as I saw many people heal right from the start and that's what made me became a true believer as a young lady in my 20's.

Then years later...I healed myself! What a fantastic blessing that was for me! The doctor that had my case was dumbfounded when he examined my results of the last test I had. That was a Priceless Moment!

Of course my family wouldn't listen...my husband calls me the "Witch Doctor". But he also uses my knowledge to heal. That's a good thing...lol.

Doctors are coming around, I pray they use their knowledge and continue to learn holistic methods for the betterment of the people involved.

Food is the best medicine...

I just stopped by your page and read your profile.

I am also a Reflexologist since 1978. Retired now. Used to be a massage therapist also. I've seen So many healings from doing Reflexology, I healed myself of A DISEASE that the doctor told me was INCURABLE.

Sorry to hear about your sister. I lost 2 sisters in a span of 5 years. Very sad, I miss the two of them very much.

I found that when people believe in their doctors, there is absolutely no room for holistic methods.

In the United States, the doctors are jumping on board with herbs and diet. I pray it doesn't take another 50 years before these doctors actually learn that good food is the best medicine.

Have a very Merry Christmas.

This time of the year it's a plethora of food temptations.
Sending some Extra SPARK to get through it all.

Happy Holidays!

Thank you for being my Spark Friend and for your continued support in the up-coming year ahead.

Oh Celeste'! How I wish I could join you for a laugh-expedition into the forest! It is cooling down and raining here...and have just discovered my next talk is no laughing matter....talk is on adornment and counsel point is to use visual aids! Overseer must be preparing for a good laugh...but I am not laughing right now! Hmmmm...sounds like stress ...can't let that win! emoticon
