MISSION: CARDIO QUEEN!
Hey there! My name is Celine and I live in the fantastic emerald city otherwise known as Seattle, WA! Yes it rains a lot and yes, most of us are addicted to caffeine! One good thing is that we're known as some of the healthiest folks in the U.S. GO SEATTLE! My journey on Sparkpeople began at 168 lbs. Hey there! My name is Celine and I live in the fantastic emerald city otherwise known as Seattle, WA! Yes it rains a lot and yes, most of us are addicted to caffeine! One good thing is that we're known as some of the healthiest folks in the U.S. GO SEATTLE! My journey on Sparkpeople began at 168 lbs. I've been on SP for 2 years this February and have lost 30 lbs since then! So here I am @ 138 lbs, still not at my goal weight of 117 but I am amazingly happy with my results thus far. In the past year, I've learned that everyone's body is completely different. What works for one woman may not work for me. You can get great ideas from all these people and when you do, I suggest trying them but if what worked for them doesn't work for you, or maybe it just doesn't work right away, DO NOT GIVE UP! Keep going. Keep strong. Do it for at least 3 weeks. Workout 2-3 times a day the first week, increase it to 3-4 the next week and then 3-4 times the next week, by then, you should be feeling the incredible benefits of getting active. I promise you that you will love it! :) If you fall off the wagon, don't stay off! So you ate something nasty at lunch, make the next meal a salad. You skipped a workout, work twice as hard the next day. Don't make excuses. If you want results, you have to work for it. That's like saying you want an 'A' in your class and never studying for it! Sorry to say, but that's not gonna work! Oh and something that's just as important as diet and exercise, BLOG, like crazy! BLOG BLOG BLOG all of the time! Even if its about what you shouldn't have eaten or being proud about what you did eat or being proud for NOT eating what you shouldn't have eaten! (haha hopefully that all made sense) Anywho, WELCOME! I'm glad to see you make a step towards a happier and healthier you. You're gonna encounter a lot of wonderful people here with amazing stories. Be ready to be a sponge so you can soak up all the knowledge you'll gain. :) Celine

My Goals:
When I was in high school, I was a size 4/6. That was six years ago and now I'm squeezing into a size 10/12. Being 5'0" and 165 lbs is a very uncomfortable feeling so I would love to get back to a size 4/6 and reach my goal weight of 120. REWARDS I WILL NEVER EVER REWARD MYSELF WITH FATTY FOODS!!! Just because I ate healthy for a week, it does not justify shoveling a brownie or a cookie into my mouth! I swear, I gain a pound by looking at the stuff! REWARDS 150 - New work out clothes REACHED in July of '08 140 - Mani/Pedi REACHED 8/17/09 135 - New, sexy underwear from VS 130 - Digital Camera 125 - SHOPPING!!! 120 - Beach Vacation in Mexico

Eating less... Typical day Breakfast: Fiber One Cereal OR Kashi Go Lean with Fat free to Low fat Milk Snack: Light yogurt OR Fruit (banana, apple, orange) Lunch: 5 slices of turkey on 2 slices of whole wheat bread A slice of american or mozzerella cheese Mustard (YUM!) Tons of romaine lettuce Snack: Smartpop popcorn - white cheddar flavor Dinner: Whole grain pasta Organic marinara sauce Turkey meatballs Working out Strength training 4x a week Light weights and resistance bands Cardio 5x a week Treadmill 30-45 min Elliptical 30-45 min

My extreme goal is to be one of the girls in Shape, Fitness, Women's Health, or Oxygen. Not the main girl of course, but under the "I did it!" section! 170 to 120 is pretty incredible! OH and to be a sparkpeople motivator! YAY
