Hi Guys and Gals,
I am married, 38 years old with three children and a full-time student. I have put on 45lbs over the past 3 1/2 years while in school. I graduate in May and refuse to walk across the stage and receive my diploma with this weight. It's time for a change!!!

Graduated 5/08/09 and was 45lbs lighter when I walked across the stage to receive my diploma - goal accomplised! Have 25lbs to go and then on to maintainance. Making a lifestyle change so that I never have to go down this road again and my health and the health of my family will be what it is supposed to be.

"If you keep doing what you've always done you'll keep getting what you've always got." -John C. Maxwell

Mini goal rewards (non-food):

20lbs - much needed manicure & pedicure (done)
40lbs - red pair of Carlos Santana shoes (didn't have, got some
gladiators instead)
60lbs - Shopping Spree for Cruise in June (going to need some
new clothes)

Water is without a doubt one of the very best diet aids and fat reducers: look at what it does . . . Suppresses your appetite. Reduces sodium buildup and helps maintain muscle tone. It helps the body eliminate waste and toxins. Relieves fluid retention. If you donít give your body water, it holds onto water tenaciously so it wont run out. Reduces fat deposits in the body by helping the body metabolize the fat that is stored in the body, however when your kidneys donít get enough water, this causes the liver to become overloaded. Since the liver is the organ that metabolizes the fat, it canít do that if itís doing the kidneys job.

Eat a diet high in fiber, fruits, and complex carbs. Must have salmon at least twice a week - It is my favorite.

I don't believe in deprevation, so a little treat now and then, but only if I deserve it.

Personal Information:
I am a wife and mother of three beautiful girls. I love to cook, exercise and just spend time with my family. We spend alot of time on the beach in the summer as we so love the ocean. I don't get stressed over matters that I have no control over or cannot change. I also believe in Karma, so I try my best to treat all people with respect and to lead a good life and I instill the same principals in my girls.

Other Information:
I love to watch investigative T.V. shows like NCIS, Monk, Law & Order and SVU.

I also love the outdoors and being next to nature enjoying the beauty that God has created.
