Hello and welcome to my page. I started out here on SP weighing 210 in September 2011. I wanted to lose 60 in a year. Well I lost 20 pounds by the end of 2011 with adding exercising, eating more fruits, vegetables and eating way less fast food. By changing how and what I eat I have gone on to lose over 50 pounds by Aug. 2016.

I am married to a very supportive man who is also losing weight and with his help I think I can do this. I love to cook and he inspires me to make low cal meals.

I challenge myself to make better choices to become stronger healthier and a better person. I find that pushing myself to be healthier every day is practical. I use steaks to motivate myself and count my calories.

I have learned to love exercising. I walk most every day. I like joining exercise challenges and testing myself to be stronger and healthier

I look forward to learning more things every year to be a good role model to others on this journey.

I wear size 10 jeans and I want to wear size 8.

My Program:
I love fresh fruit and raw vegetables. I eat mainly chicken, fish and vegetables, with a little cheese and yogurt throw in. I exercise 6 days a week by walking.

I live in Sacramento Ca with my hubby of 11+ years. He is also working to lose weight and is helping me stay on track.

    What a clean up you did! Glad it was given to other people to use. Having a sweet treat when going out sounds pretty good, much better than having them at home! I hope the part time caretaker will accept when she sees how Ron helps in moving. I read about the diet and seems very appropriate for his problem. Your weather will be very nice for you to enjoy some outings when the caretakers are there emoticon Have fun!

    Yes, that's how I'm trying to eat now, low carbs no sugars except for one square of chocolate at lunch. I cannot eat high fiber carbs, so I eat tubers (carrots, sweet potato, etc.) instead, high protein (meat, eggs, fish, low fat cheese).
