Every Little Bit Helps

Hello and welcome to my page. I started out here on SP weighing 205 in September 2011. I wanted to lose 60 in a year. Well I lost 20 pounds by the end of 2011 with adding exercising and eating more fruit and vegetables. Now I feel I can lose the rest with time and effort.

I am married to a verry supportive man and with his help I think I can do this. I love to cook and he inspires me to make low cal meals.

Hello and welcome to my page. I started out here on SP weighing 205 in September 2011. I wanted to lose 60 in a year. Well I lost 20 pounds by the end of 2011 with adding exercising and eating more fruit and vegetables. Now I feel I can lose the rest with time and effort.

I am married to a verry supportive man and with his help I think I can do this. I love to cook and he inspires me to make low cal meals.

I challenge myself to make better choices to become stronger healthier and a better person. I find that pushing myself to be healthier every day is practical. I use steaks to motivate myself.

In 2012 I started to slow down with my weight loss, I was not eating right. I was exercising more but ate about the same as when I was not trying to lose. So I would try to stay on track and some days I did but some day I was off. I Started paying attention to what I ate and stayed on track more I lost 16 pounds in 2013. For a total of 36 pounds with 34 to go to goal.

September 2013 marked the start of year 3 with Spark People, I have not been doing to well staying on track but made up my mind this would be the year to do better. I started on the Every Other Day Diet and things are changing, weight is coming off. By February 14, I have lost 10 pounds.
Update 3/26/2014 after losing 14 pounds and gaining back 10 I went off the Every Other Day Diet and went back on Weight Watchers.
Update 3/31/2014 doing my own thing check on blog New streak 3/30/2014 for more detail on what works for me and what I am back to doing
