All round healthier living.

I joined Sparkpeople in 2007 and have had great successes with it. Sadly, our military lifestyle has led to lots of moving around and I have always fallen off track with each move.

Recent serious health issues have inspired me to take control of my health and diet in a responsible way. Losing weight is not my current goal. I'm looking at that as a bonus. For now my goal is simply to improve my health so that I can live a longer life.

My name is Charlene though most people call me Char. I live with my husband Frank and our many furbabies. We live in the great white north which I have grown to love.

Other Information:
I love music (all kinds), cooking (especially foreign foods), movies (all, but especially foreign films and musicals), walking, spending time with friends and loved ones, learning, and I spend a great deal of time reading. I love to make new friends and I am always looking for ways to improve who I am.

My main rule in life is treat others as I would wish to be treated. I never go far wrong if I stick to that thought.
