Hello, I am a food addict...

Hello everyone,
I am hoping for this to become a success story, as everything else I have tried...has failed! I am tired of being a prisoner in my own body. My goal is to regain my confidence, meet my goal and put an end to my food addictions. Finding friends in the same circle would be a plus! May all your journeys be successful as well. Starting weight 525 pounds.

Update: 3/15/14...Hopefully, I have found my way back from that devastating binge. I wish I could say I didn't enjoy it, but the truth is I did and that is what scares me. Total gain was 50 pounds in 7 weeks. That is unimaginable! As of today, down 16 pds.

Update: 2/18/14...Well, 6 weeks ago I had lost 92 pounds and today 35 or so has found its way back due to a 4 week or so binge. My sugar was around 100 and now in the 300's. Again today, I will strive for a successful day so I can begin to feel better once again. Thank God for allowing yet another restart.

Update: 9/30/13... (484) I have re-committed myself once again. I began going back to my T.O.P.S. meetings again. My blood sugars have gone from 435 to 156 in one month just by controlling my food intake. I am so ready to become healthier!

Update: 5/9/12...(499) To date I have lost 26 pounds. These last few weeks I have really put my heart and soul into eating better. I love the nutrition tracker, it really helps me control those needed areas. Forgive me if I don't post much as I am still making my way around the site. Wishing you all a great week ahead!

Update: 5/16/12...(489) This week I had a 10 pound weight loss! Woot Woot! Feeling good about that. I'm sure by next week it will taper off, as it usually does, but I'll take it while I can. Stay tuned...

Update: 5/23/12...(488) So disappointed this week! One pound, your kidding me right? No ma'am as I answered myself...lol! So what do you think I did...(btw, I was great all week and never wavered). WelI, I ate of course, whatever I wanted! I baked nearly 100 cookies yesterday and never ate the first one...but today I did! The result of my binge ended in such sickness that I thought I was going to throw up for nearly 2 hours! Suppressing it was the hardest. Although that KFC chicken and potato wedges, Arby's Beef & Cheddar's (yes plural), mozzarella cheese sticks, sample of the new orange shake (creamsicle) Mmmmm, cupcakes and my Coconut-Chocolate Chip cookies were good going down in only 4 hours...keeping it down was no picnic! Tomorrow I will be back at it and eating the required amount instead of only the 1100 or 1200 calories I have been averaging. Moral of the story...Making bad choices can only end badly! Lesson learned!!!

Update: 6/19/12...(506) Short and sweet, I have not been on program, have gained as a result and feeling badly. I am not a quitter so here I go again.

Update: 10/20/12...(478) Things are looking up for me. One day at a time is the best I can hope for now. I have been eating every 2-3 hours and my weight has steadily decreased as have my blood sugars. I maintain an average of 1500 calories daily. I do not exercise but am looking into "chair" exercises as it may be the perfect fit for me at this point. Great things are coming :)

Update: 3/27/13... (504) Up, down and up again. Once again, I refuse to quit. So today, I begin again.

Non-scale victories are so important, but it's still really great to see that scale move! Congrats on your 12 from someone who knows how hard this is.
