I just retired and have been a member of a health club for 15 months and do aerobics classes 3 - 6 days per week. I have toned up, but have lost no weight. After I exercise, I get hungry and eat all the calories I burned off. I need some structure with food consumption!

I am working out at the gym 1-2 hours daily with an occasional mile with my dog, Bennie. On nice days I am also working in the yard.

Also, I am faithfully tracking my foods. Watching calories has been a huge motivator.

I just saw your post on the message boards about recommendations for workout clothes and I want to agree with the shout out in favor of Academy Sports! Since I moved to the Northeast, I miss that place dearly!

Hi,
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog today.

I know what you mean about the food getting in your way. On Tuesday, I stopped by the Dollar General Store to get some cat food. Well, while I was in there, this box of 'Whoppers' (malted milk balls) kept calling my name. I had no control over this situation, so I had to take those darn Whoppers home with me. The only good thing (besides the taste), was the fact that it took me 2 days to eat the whole box.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. If you haven't eaten those "healthy" chocolate cookies yet, try giving them to the next person who rings your doorbell, like the postman. Or take them with you when you go out in your car and throw them to the birds.. bet they DON'T eat them!! It's hard to part with food, we're so addicted to the thrill and taste of it. I'm trying to help with your dilema since I messed up in mine; but today I'm carb- free again and on the straight and narrow, going back to healthy eating. I have to stop playing so close to the edge with my sugar numbers. Wishing you the best. You can do9 this! emoticon emoticon

Thanks for reading my blog. The cats only eat dry food but seem to drink a lot of water. She seems more comfortable tonight after 2 doses of the antibiotic.
