Shoot for the Satellites

I was big all through highschool. In fact, I've been fat since kindergarten after I got my tonsils and adenoids removed. Once I started into college, I really started just building up extra lbs. I think it was other factors more than just food including stress and lack of sleep.

In trying to gain some weight back I fell into my old way of eating and gained too much! Now, I'm on a journey to really transform my into something that's not just skinnier, but something I can be proud of. I wanna be a WARRIOR! Hoo-Ra!

They say all quests must have a start
But not all quests come to an end.
Iíll try my best to do my part
Iím all alone, but still defend.
That dragon long tormented me-
The battle all inside myself.
But on this day I am set free
Iíve learned to recognize my wealth.
Forget the ghouls that haunt your mind Ė
Stay true! And fight until youíve won.

From highest cliff we shall ascend
And ride the drake before the end.

I'm 21 years old and currently an undergraduate double majoring in English - Creative Writing and Communication at Seton Hill University. I'm a huge nerd in so many ways. I love watching movies, especially crazy fantasy and SF movies as well as reading books. I also enjoy thinking, and learning about things like philosophy, psychology, art and religion.

Hell yeah man, MMA is definitely a great and fun way to strengthen, condition, and tone up. There's a lot of stuff you can find online, video wise, even if just starting with a cardio kickboxing or something. I recently got the Rush Fit DVD's but only adding it time to time to my regimen.
