Kicking Bootay

I kicked butt with my first pregnancy (2009) and only gained 15 lbs TOTAL! And even better, 2 weeks after giving birth I dropped that weight and then some! I popped out my second kid this year (2012) and once again, 3 weeks later I lost all the weight and then some! Pregnancy agrees with me, clearly. I realize I am the exception to the rule and I am loving it :)

Now I'm trying to drop these last 20 lbs I've had forever and get hot just for me, me, me, me.

My Program:
High focus on eating right and drinking TONS of water.

Cal counting always works for me so I want to focus on mastering that again. Yoga, running, and weight training is secondary to diet this time.

Personal Information:
In my 30s, live in the USA, happily married and now a happy mommy as well!

I packed on pounds in grad school (hit 195), lost weight for my wedding (down to 160), gained some of it back in the first months of marital bliss (back up to 185) and then got pregnant!

I was very careful during my pregnancy and only gained 15 lbs (topped out at 200 lbs), all of which I lost in the first two weeks of my baby's life (back to 185).
My weight stayed around high 170s/low180s for two years and then I got pregnant again (topped out at 195). Within three weeks I dropped down past my old weight all the way to 171!

Now I am ready to start that long road back down to my undergrad size of 145 (which for me means I will have a 6 pack). Watch me work!!! :)

Hi lady see that baby is more than wonderful huh? I am sure getting big now and still as lovable as ever. Funny thing motherhood it's like a switch is turned on and you have all this capability to love like you never knew existed.

Congratuations on your success! I'm actually losing weight before I get pregnant, and I have a question: what did you do in order to only gain 15 pounds during pregnancy? That's awesome!!!! All the best to you on your goals!
