You commented on one of my blogs a long time back, and I checked out your page and thought wow, she's really motivated. I added you to my friends. It has been a long time since I clicked on your page, but today, when I saw 219 on your ticker, I just had to comment.
Congrats on all you have lost so far, good luck on all of the goals you have yet to reach, and you have inspired someone who has been on and off the dieting "wagon" for a very long time to give it one more serious try.
Hah, no my boyfriend is just sort of old fashioned and behind the times when it comes to women working out. I mentioned that I benched 85 pounds and was able to do 16 reps but that I was certainly still feeling it and he got worried that I'm going to bulk up like a man in my chest and shoulders. "What's the point of lifting such heavy weights?" Which I hear as "why does a girl need to be able to pick up heavy things when her big strong man is around."
He doesn't mean it that way, but that's what I hear. So I've educated him quite a lot. Really, he hasn't worked out in at least 15 years, his wife NEVER worked out, so he just doesn't have the experience or knowledge/information. 1355 days ago
