Jan 2010 update:

Weighed in & took my measurements on Jan. 1st. 1/2 marathon training officially begins on January 3rd.

The plan? Eat within range, follow the running program, lose 40 pounds in the first 1/2 of the year.

Current Status:
CHEF6500 was only over by 200 calories today. Not bad for being out & about all day.

2010 Goals

Run 1/2 marathon in May.
Lose 40 pounds by the end of June.

I'll set the rest of 2010 goals later.

I revised a 12 week 1/2 marathon training program into a 19 week program.

Thank you for the advice on running. I welcome all I can get! We live about 1.5 hours south of Cleveland in New Philadelphia. We go through your area every time we head back to MN to visit my family. Cool!

Hi, I just happened on your page through one of the threads and I see you're from OH too! That's cool! I'm a fairly new runner looking for advice on knee pain. I run 5-6x a week 2.5 miles or so, and I think I either need to cut back or do some kind of knee strengthening because the pain is definately there the days I run. Not so much on the off day. Anyway......any advice you have would be welcome. Have a GREAT day! emoticon
