Hi! Thanks for visiting my page! I'm a dreamer, but one thing I've discovered I don't need to dream is the ability to lose weight. I live in Michigan where I'm married with two kids and a wild little puppy. I became a vegetarian in 2013. I've now adopted a nearly complete plant-based diet. I make an exception for cheese one time a week.

I really am a dreamer for my job. I'm a full-time, multi-published author. In addition to this, I love to cook, travel, take walks and spend time outdoors (as long as it's not too hot!)

I love to meet people and I'm looking forward to getting to know my new SparkFriends!

My Goals:
Goal 1: Run the Color Run in August

Goal 2: Rock Climbing

Goal 3: Run the Zombie Run and not DIE!

Goal 4: Get the most out of every day and let out the thin girl who's revolting inside me and demanding to be let free.

Goal 5: Lose 135 lbs

My Program:
I'm following the calorie restriction suggested by SP. I'm also making better food choices (read: less junk!). I'm also a vegetarian.

Personal Information:
I'm from West Michigan, and I'm married with two nearly grown kids. Most of my time is spent writing, so I have lots of desk time and not enough movement. I'm working on adding more activity.

I love to cook, and I've been experimenting with tasty, healthy recipes.
