Saw your comment on the SPAT team, and I had the loose clip problem also. Take it apart, and "gently" squeeze on the bend of the clip with a pair of pliers, careful to not break it. Put your SPAT back together and it should be nice and tight now.

I always wear mine on my shoe as it gets the best results there.
