It's time to update my page... I have been on SparkPeople for six months and I have lost 10 pounds, which is only a fraction of my long-term goal of 40 pounds. More importantly though, in the past six months I have learned so much about myself and I am developing really healthy habits and in turn, I am changing my life.

When I first joined SparkPeople I was self-conscious about talking about myself and my struggles with losing weight and body image. After seeing and benefiting from other members sharing so candidly their personal struggles and triumphs, I feel much more confident about talking about my own.
