I'm changing every day. Some changes I can't do much about - I'm getting older whether I like it or not. But I can change my body to make it slimmer, healther, and stronger!

My Goals:
I joined Sparkpeople in 2010 and did very well, losing 36 lbs the first year. Then I had a series of relapses. Both my hubby and I have had health issues and surgeries. But that's no excuse.

June 24: 195

Goals:
Short Term:
Lose 10 lbs before my mission trip next month.

Mid-Term:
Lose 2 lbs per week until I reach 170, which will be mid-September, just in time for my next big trip.

Long Term:
Continue to lose 1.5 lbs until I ready my goal weight of 145 or 150 (I'll reevaluate as I get closer).



My Program:
Healthy eating (complex carbs, low-fat protein, with lots of fresh vegetables) and increased activity (stationary bike and walking).

Personal Information:
I'm a grandmother, a mother, a wife, a farm girl, a music lover, a reader, a traveler, a writer, a gardener....I just love life.

Other Information:
My goals are:

To make my health and happiness a higher priority in my life.

To reach a healthy weight of 145.

To increase my activity level by including daily exercise.

Saw your plea on a comment about the tree and decorations sitting all around--set a timer----do 15 minutes of putting things away---okay, now you have earned a Spark break----set your timer for your break---when it goes off---do the whole thing again---then it won't seem so tedious because you have earned some time for relaxation.
