I own and operate an organic essential oil candle company (www.franciselliscandles.com) am a licensed Esthetician and am in school for Holistic Nutrition. I gave up dairy & wheat (and meat) about 4 years ago (and lost 70lbs!) and, unfortunately, gained it all back within the last year and a half. It's been a hard and amazing adventure, but I'm ready to live my best life and get back on the big girl horse! I love HOT YOGA, walking & swimming but have a hard time getting motivated. The biggest thing, (in addition to my health) is that my boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby! I want people to NOTICE when I'm pregnant... not *gasp* when they find out I'm not just Super Fat! I was a chunky kid once I hit middle school and I've been getting bigger and bigger ever since. It's time to stop the trend and start living life the way I WANT to! I'm striving to lose 2.5 lbs per week.

My Goals:
In 2008 I had had enough. I was 229lbs and 29 years old. I decided I didn't want to enter my 30's in the 200's... and I didn't. By March of 2009 I weighed 165lbs! I've been riding the coattails of my success since then and need to step it up a notch to lose the rest.


My Program:
I don't eat dairy or wheat and have given up all meat except fish, (the next on my list.) I walk to and from work (7 miles round trip) at least 3 times a week, (trying to make it 4-5.) I also do hot yoga an average of 3 times per week, (trying to make it 5.) Looking into kickboxing as well.



Personal Information:
I'm originally from WI and have lived in Chicago since 2003. I'm loving the city more and more each year. Being physically active definitely helps out the process! There's so much to do!
