Everyone in our family is trying to eat better and live a healthier lifestyle. My husband and I need to lose a lot of extra weight, and the kids need to embrace healthier foods and less screen time.

So I created a challenge where we each earn points for following the recommendations of the Harvard School of Public Health for fitness and healthy eating. We'll see if Mom and Dad can beat the kids at improving our lifestyle!

I also live in NC and started SP this week well, my page says "since 7/2009" but my mom signed me up, so I didn't use it)... I'm excited about this journey!! Good luck to you!!!

Welcome back! It's amazing how I can eat really healthy foods that are delicious and then forget to watch the portion size. I wind up eating way more than I need. Good Luck! Lizzie

Iíve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, itís a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. Iíve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me.
