Quit smoking and not gain a lot of weight during that process. To lose weight in a healthy way that I can stick to in the present and future. Be a healthier, non-smoking, happier me!
I don't really have a program. I try to watch portion sizes, eat fresh vegetables and fruits, drink at least 64 ounces of water a day, and try to get 30 minutes of some sort of fitness activity a day.
40+ (closer to 50 now) Mom of two, Grandma (Hamma) of one. Have been married for over 23 years. We have one very spoiled pitbull dog (no he isn't mean!) who thinks he is a 4 year old child. Have worked for the company I'm with for over 17 years. Live in small town Iowa, so small there isn't even a bar but we do have 3 churches.

Appreciate your blog post comments! YESSSSS!!!! Oh man, those Cadbury Mini Eggs are totally evil! HA! I forgot to mention them, but yes, I had a small pouch of them too. 200 calories in just a tiny little bag! UGH. I could absolutely eat one of the larger, regular-sized bags in one sitting. Embarrassing to say, but totally true. I have no idea what makes them so addictive, but they ARE! And of course, they're everywhere you look this time of year.
