my journey is starting (again)

This page is to record how my journey is progressing. My goals are to become more fit and lose weight. I signed up a long time ago, but keep getting side-tracked and losing sight of my goals. I have lots to lose so I'm working on smaller goals that will eventually take me to where I need to be.

My Goals:
I have three goals I'm working on currently-
1. Eating whole foods
2. exercising a minimum of 180 min./week
3. losing weight consistently


My Program:
I am eating healthily. I am trying to make sure that I eat plenty of fruits and veggies every day. I am exercising regularly each week. I am trying to make my changes habits that I follow forever.

Personal Information:
I live in Massachusetts. I have 11 nieces and nephews that I love to do fun stuff with. Getting healthy will help me do that more often.

Other Information:
I love to read. I like all the series by Alexander McCall Smith, non-fiction , mysteries and fiction books for kids (tweens and teens). I used to be a Youth Librarian and can't seem to kick the habit of reading kids' books.

Three for Thursday Throw Down"!!
1. Do 30 minutes each of 3 different cardio exercises (90 min.)
2. Do 20 minutes each of 3 different ST exercises (60 min.)
3. Add 3 cups water to normal intake
4. Eat 3 each color Red, White, & Blue Freggies !!

The Bunnys vs the Honeys. The team with the most participants who complete ALL parts of the Throwdown challenge tomorrow will win bragging rights!!!
