Hello, Elizabeth and thank you for your message on my page. Yes, I am dedicated to Spark because of the great tools that are available here and because of the community. Sure, I could have lost the weight without SP but being here and working the plan sure made it easier and more fun. I've also learned a lot about health issues in general --- and about myself!
Now that I'm needing to re-lose a few kilos, I'm back to sparking more consistently. I'm just now catching up after having some Spark Mail issues and bad case of bronchitis. The holidays were very quiet, and rather sad for me this year - my first without my Mom.
I understand that the cyberworld is getting bigger and bigger and that it's hard to check in with a lot of different places. I'm also on another message board, scan my Facebook, and check two or three email accounts on a daily basis. I guess it's whatever works for you and makes it possible for you to keep in touch with your loved ones and your "support team."
Do drop me a line again sometime - interested to hear about Costa Rica?!

Hello, I am sorry for not writing for so long. Iíve been told I need to branch out and not spend so much time on the computer. I hopefully have a long time to live in this rest home and the idea is to keep myself busy and useful. I am teaching a crocheting class and trying to knit helmet liners for the soldiers---and scarves. They may want me to do more. If you write to me, I will answer. It will just take time. One lady said she was glad I told her. She was worried that she might have said something to offend me when I didnít write back for a long time. Also I'm going to have to leave some clubs. I want to do Sparkpeople because it helps me so much and because of the friends I have made. So I won't give up on it or losing weight. Write when you have the time and I will too.
Many Happy Wishes,

Hello, Thank you for your nice note. You talked about your husband getting a new job in Leavenworth, KS, but you didn't tell me what kind of work he does. I used to live a block off of Leavenworth Rd. when I lived in Kansas City, KS. This morning was not a good morning. I had a doctor's appointment. I got up late and had to have breakfast and my bath over by 10:15. I forgot to bandage my toe, but a nurse came and did it for me. I was ready to go by 10:00 and waited. The driver showed up 15 minutes before my doctor's appointment. The office is 45 minutes away in Bolivar, Missouri. I still haven't received the yarn to start the helmet liners. I also found a pattern for a crocheted or knitted scarf for the soldiers. Write to me when you have the time.
