Where I'm Going

While here at Spark, I've learned a lot about portions and keeping track of what I'm eating. I've tracked calories and realized that calories do count. I've realized that exercise is essential and has to be a lifestyle. I've also realized that motivation is an important part of this journey.

Recently I've become aware of needing to make this something I can and will continue beyond being on a diet. Of keeping this a lifestyle. I'm now learning strategies to eat well without always ...

My Goals:
I am now working to maintain my weight loss. My daily goals include:

1. Eating 3 moderate meals and one snack a day.

2. At least 7000 steps a day. 3-5 days a week 10,000-20,000 steps a day.

3. Eat 3-5 fruits and vegetables a day.

4. Maintain my weight with the good habits I've developed over time.




My Program:
I'm watching my portion sizes and limiting how much I eat a day.

I prefer to walk. I walk outside when I can. I use a treadmill at a local Wellness Center and walk DVDs when I can't get outside.

The support of my husband and friends.

To monitor my progress I weigh myself daily.

Personal Information:
I currently live in northeast Nebraska.

Thanks Cindi, I have 12 more pounds to go! I am hoping that they all come from my lower half ha, ha! I am using the nutrition tracker to help me and am hoping that this will help me keep motivated to keep it off

Hey Cindi! I found you :o) I agree, I love facebook, but this is totally different. I haven't linked my two accounts because I let my students on my facebook account and I just wanted to have a place where I could be totally open and not have to edit what I am saying. I love this website and I have learned so much from it!
