Hi, I just read your comment about your neck hurting doing crunches. What I do is to rest the back of my head against my fingertips on each side--I don't interlace the fingers--and I keep my neck flat as I crunch up. That means I'm looking at the ceiling the whole time, not in front of me, at the wall or my knees. When I do that I don't strain my neck. And I prefer doing more crunchless core workouts, though sometimes it's good to do different styles.

I hope this is helpful! Best of luck to you! Blessed Be, Amanda

Thanks for finding that for me..... I wonder if the happiness stems more from most of the students being grounded in reality and an attitude of gratefulness..

Gig 'em!

No, I did NOT know that A&M is considered one of the happiest campuses in the country... What an interesting piece of data! What's the source?

Incidentally, I'm heading back to the Cushing Library next week, and the VERY helpful librarians have been helping me gather info regarding early girls at A&M. (I'm Class of '73)... You don't happen to have any stories about weirdness regarding girls when you were there, do you?

I remember walking in on a men's basketball team when my PE class coincided with a scheduled basketball game (girls used the Visitors Dressing Room since there wasn't one just for girls) and the visiting team arrived early in the day and were already in the dressing room... totally embarrassed me, I can tell you!
