Fall, 2014 - Welcome to my SparkPage! I have now been a "sparker" for over 7 years!

After struggling with my up and down weight for 6 of those years, I am now at a healthy maintenance weight. I joined Overeaters Anonymous 15 months ago and discovered that I am a compulsive overeater. I am powerless over food, and need God's help to stay away from binging and compulsively eating.

I am now working the 12 Steps with the help of God, my sponsor, and my regular meeting ...

Get down to a healthy weight

* graduate from wall-pushups to modified pushups (again)

* get up to 40 or 50 modified pushups
Done - current level

* be able to do 20 regular pushups in a row

* train for, and run another 5K

*train for and run a 10K

My Program:
* I do my best to stay within the Sparkpeople caloric guidelines, choosing more fruits and veggies over empty carbs

* I work with an OA sponsor, and commit my daily food plan to her, as well as to God

* with God's and my sponsor's help, I am working the 12 Steps of OA

Personal Information:
I live in Winnipeg Canada.

I work at a private, Catholic school, and feel very blessed to be able to live my faith in my workplace.

Thanks for asking CJ. Things are fine, just very busy with students taking exams the week after next and getting bogged down with proof reading a theseis which has to be done by Monday. Its been quite a stressful summer this year. We are going to the beach today just to get away for the day. Hope you are well too.
