To gain back my health, and happiness!!!

I am 32, and I am looking for buddies to help motivate & inspire me on my weight loss journey, and I would love to do the same! Please feel free to add me as a buddy so we can help each other with this weight los journey!!!

This is it...I am going for it this time! I have had have battled with my weight all my life. At 12 yrs old I went from 141 lbs down to 86 lbs and became anorexic & bulimic for a few years. After high school my weight kept creeping back up. In 2005 my weight skyrocketed because I delivered my son prematurely at 28 weeks (he was 2lbs, 3 oz) due to pre-eclampsia which gave me high blood pressure and a lot of water retention. I have not been able to lose the weight I had gained with my pregnancy. I am an emotional eater. My Dr. recently told me I needed to lose the weight or I would need to take drastic alternative measures which I don't want to do.

I look forward to meeting a lot of new people and seeing everyone's success with weight loss!!!

My Goals:
I want to reach my monthly goals by losing 2 lbs a week. I want to be able to run, swim, play tennis, and rollerblade again. My ultimate goal is to get down to a healthy weight where I look good and feel good about myself again. I want to live a long time to see my son grow up and so I can meet my grandchildren someday.

My Program:
I am trying to eat less processed foods, less "white" foods. I am trying to eat more whole foods & drink more water. , I am watching my calories & portions.

Recording what you do everyday makes a big difference. It gets repetitive and it's not always fun to log on a couple times a day to put down everything you eat, I know. For about 2 weeks or so I just got tired and burnt out so I cut back a little on my exercise and still watched my calories but didn't really record everything ( I'd hit a plateau also so cutting back was definitely called for) but I'm back at it now and it can be hard to stay on top of things. It's so good that you didn't give up and you're going to work at it everyday, you'll be amazed at your progress! Just stick with it and you can do it!
