Towards a lighter life!

Thanks to my wonderful Sparkfriends, I have discovered hiking and rediscovered photography. I love going to new places in my area each week and posting blogs about it. I also love to share my travels!

My Goals:
Weight loss goal for 2015:
Keep losing weight!

Fitness goal:
I want to be able to go hiking for the day. At the moment my knees are still not happy with my weight and prevent me from going on much longer than 3/4-hour hikes. But little by little, I believe I'll get there!

My Program:
*WEIGHT LOSS
Eat small quantities (WLS in November 2014) 6 times a day.

*FITNESS
1 or 2 hikes/walks every weekend (3 to 7 hours in total, with a photo blog for the fun and to keep myself accountable) and walks or stationary bike twice a week depending on the weather.

Personal Information:
I am French and live just outside Paris. I am 6ft (no, French women aren't all 'petite'!).
I love to travel and I have a passion for jazz (Cool West Coast).

Other Information:
Thank you so much for the support I receive here from Sparkpeople and my Sparkfriends! It is helping me make my way towards a lighter life, body and mind...

Hi Claire
Piyo is a mix of pilates and yoga and cardio all mixed together and it is really tough moving from planks to down dogs to squats to kicks while planking. It is sold by beach body and it is really good for the abs and torso and all other muscles and it is a killer workout. My coworker is a beach body coach and so she kept asking me to try it so I told her that if she let me borrow her dvd's to try it that I would consider buying it. I think I probably will buy it because it is an amazing ab workout and that is where I still have the most body fat so perhaps I can get rid of some of it. After 2 kids, I don't think it will all be going away though! You should look it up on youtube! It is so much "fun"!!!
