Towards a lighter life!

Thanks to my wonderful Sparkfriends, I have discovered hiking and rediscovered photography. I love going to new places in my area each week and posting blogs about it. I also love to share my travels!

My Goals:
Weight loss goal for 2015:
Keep losing weight!

Fitness goal:
I want to be able to go hiking for the day. At the moment my knees are still not happy with my weight and prevent me from going on much longer than 3/4-hour hikes. But little by little, I believe I'll get there!

My Program:
*WEIGHT LOSS
Eat small quantities (WLS in November 2014) 6 times a day.

*FITNESS
1 or 2 hikes/walks every weekend (3 to 7 hours in total, with a photo blog for the fun and to keep myself accountable) and walks or stationary bike twice a week depending on the weather.

Personal Information:
I am French and live just outside Paris. I am 6ft (no, French women aren't all 'petite'!).
I love to travel and I have a passion for jazz (Cool West Coast).

Other Information:

Running on a treadmill is a bit boring, but I think it is easier than running outside for a few reasons. I can control the speed at which I run, I can see the time I have spent running at all times, there is no wind resistance or hills, although I do set my treadmill at an incline, it is still different, hills are really tough! I don't have a fan blowing on me to cool me down at all times and the motorized belt helps at some level to keep you going. I prefer running outside by far, but it is definitely different than running on a treadmill.
Last night it was really cold with a biting wind so I went down to my nice warm basement and put the treadmill to good use so I am so glad to have it because I am a fair weather person!
I hope your arm is feeling better today.
And I know that you will continue to age younger as well as you lose the weight.
