My name is Amy and I am a single mother of a 7 year old little boy. I work full time for AAA. When I have down time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, watching movies, taking walks, spending time outdoors, singing karaoke, and relaxing!

I have struggled with my weight all my life. I have issues with binge eating. Over the years I have gained and lost many many pounds. I have realized that my health needs to be front and center in my life. That being said, I have refocused my priorities, and have commited to eating right and being more physically active.
I have re-evaluated my weight loss goals. I have a tendency to go crazy with healthy eating and exercise for a few weeks, and then it begins to taper off, after I have lost a few pounds. Of course I always end up gaining it back. I have decided this time around to set mini goals, instead of looking at the big picture. I think smaller goals within a smaller time frame will be easier to stick with, and will make my long term goal more attainable!

My Goals:
I am starting 2018 at 271 lbs... I would like to lost 10 lbs a month, (I know, I'm feeling ambitious today)
so here is my monthly goals for the next 6 months..

Weight goals:
Jan 1st- 271 (starting weight)
Feb 1st- 260 missed goal, weighed in at 265.2
March 1st- 250 MIssed goal, weighed in at 262.4
April 1st- 240
May 1st - 230
June 1st- 220
July 1st- 210

Fitness goals:
Obtain 10,000+ steps daily.

Jan 1st-Feb 1st: 30 mins walking or bike 3 days a week

Feb 2nd-March 1st: 30 mins walking or bike 4 days a week

March 2nd-April 1st: 30 mins walking/bike 5 days a week

April 2nd- June 4th: Couch to 5K: Run days: (30 mins)
Mon/Wed/Fri, Weight train days: (30 mins) Tues/Thurs

June 5th-July 1st
Run/Walk intervals 5 days a week, (Tuesday-Saturday) weight train 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)

My Program:
To be concious of what I am eating, eat healthy foods, and no binging. To be physically active for at least 30 minutes a day!

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl.
