Balancing Body, Mind, Spirit, and Emotions

I have lost 50 pounds. I have gained back 35. Now I see why.

I lost the weight through clean eating, cardio, and weight training. I also had an inner voice telling me how unacceptable I was and how I would be acceptable when I reached goal weight.

I don't like the way I look right now, but I must practice telling myself that the real me (the essence of who I am) is completely lovable just as I am.

I will reach and maintain my body goals.
I am worth it.

My Goals:
Daily:
Track food.
Track water.
Track exercise.
Meditate.
Write in journal.

2016:
Participate in an Aquabike race, which is 1.2 miles swimming and 56 miles cycling.

My Program:
Weight training 2x/week
Cardio 5x/week

Eating is the hardest part for me. I haven't decided on my parameters yet.

Personal Information:
I am highly tempted to try to psych myself up for the weight-loss thing by reading success stories, looking at pictures of fitness models I want to look like, and fantasizing about what my life will be like when I finally get to 18% body fat.

Been there, done that, and gained the weight back.

I am hoping to embark on the journey this time for health and sanity, not to earn lovability.


Other Information:
I enjoy rearranging the contents of my 475-square-foot apartment and thinking about how to make it into a spiritual sanctuary with a Zen influence. It remains a cluttered, very un-Zen mess. Sure is cozy, regardless.

I've not done an aquabike ... but I was thinking about it this past year. Running is hard for me ... but I like biking. So aquabike right? Until I realized my swimming REALLY sucked!

So are you doing the 1 mile swim with the group each week?
