I am training for a 5k!!

I have had hypothyroidism for seven years. I have had a hard time being consistent and losing weight. I try to walk or run five days a week and eat healthily.

My Goals:
To be consistent in my exercise. I feel better when I do it regularly both physically and emotionally.

My Program:
I am going to the gym two days a week and running a mile (at least) six days a week with my son. We are training for a 5k so we will begin adding to some days and cutting back on others.

My nine year old and I had a great run this morning. I let him pick the route and it was cooler. And he pushed me hard. He ran faster than I have ever seen him, chatting all the way. It was him pushing me today, not the other way around!

thanks for the comment on my blog! I think you are very right, I usually don't want to do my runs before I have a good one...it's like that with a lot of other things too, I dread doing the things that will make me feel much better when they're over with or done, haha. But then it feels amazing after. Hope you are doing well today! Take care!
