Hi, I'm Christy. I'm 26 and live in VA. I'm not really here to lose weight, but am working on making healthy eating and exercise into a habit. I just ran my first half marathon and am looking to find a new weekly workout routine where I won't get bored. I am highly motivated by beating my own PRs, so my rewards are all based on fitness accomplishments.

Goals:
**Do 50 consecutive pushups (Reward- use my massage gift certificate)
**Run 1 mile in under 7 minutes ...

Without stopping...
**Run 1 mile- Accomplished 6.18.12!
**Run 2 miles (Reward- new running shorts): Accomplished 7.3.12!
**Run 3 miles (Reward- new hiking shorts): Accomplished 9.2.12!
**Run 4 miles (Reward- jeans- $3 at the thrift store!): Accomplished 9.8.12!
**Run 5 miles- (Reward- ??)Accomplished 9.30.12!
**Run 6 miles (Reward- Sign up for my 1st 1/2 Marathon- April 14, 2013!)- Accomplished 10.11.12!
**Run a 5k in under 25 minutes (Reward- plan a date night with my husband!)



Current Status:
CLRWILLIAMS25 Survived my sister's 21st birthday party and a wine festival without going overboard with food or drinks! NSV for sure!

Lol so true! We have gone through so many things like that. It is funny you mention the margarine too because just last week when my mom was here we where talking about how she use to buy it all the time thinking it was better!

Hi Christy! I averaged my calories for the last 7 days & it was 1600. I guess that's pretty good. You are right, I should be able to even out my low days with some higher days. Thank goodness I'm doing that today because yesterday was a free for all calorie fest. Today is a lot lower.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!

My mum said exactly the same about my son and his new glasses! He does look very grown-up and very studious emoticon
I think he looks gorgeous, but of course, I am very biased! emoticon

Thank you also about your comment on my food photos. As I am posting a lot of these photos on my Sandra's Holistic Kitchen Facebook page and blog, I am mindful about making the photos as attractive as possible without tempering with the food itself (such as putting oil on it to give it a sheen, etc.) I am adamant that the food I photograph is as I put it on the table, but I do now try to pay attention to presentation and lighting. It's by no mean perfect but I am learning and enjoying the process emoticon
