My dog is CoCo Louise, a chihuahua. I have 2 adult daughters & 3 grandchildren. I've taken care of others all my life, NOW it's my turn. Since having the surgery I no longer tak 5 megadoses of insulin injections daily- that was my goal.....to eliminate insulin
shots....which is pretty much accomplished. I now just follow a sliding scale of 2-6 units prn- VS the 120uL bid & 80u N. tid that I used to take. Thankyou Dr. Carlin for giving me a new life.
Now it's up to me to maintain that opportunity to live a normal life.
