My goals

1/2/13 I have been working a lot the last couple of months and I have not found time to exercise or track food. On top of that broke my pedometer.
I did gain a few pounds and inches back, but have already gotten a new pedometer, and am back to tracking food and exercising. I know I can do this so am motivated to just do it! My goal is still the same weight off, but by my birthday, September 2. Let's go!!!!

10/1/12 update. Feet are getting up to snuff. Can do 25 ...

10/1/12 update. Feet are getting up to snuff. Can do 25 minutes of cardio on the elliptical machine at the gym now. Taking lots of walks and the distance is increasing more and more.

April 2012. This year I have had 2 foot surgeries so I am trying hard not to gain any additional weight in spite of mobility issues. I do have a goal weight to reach by the end of the year, but really can't work on that seriously until I can do cardio other than sitting in a chair cardio. I am hoping to expand cardio exercises in a month or so. In the meantime, I do appreciate the exercises and videos I have been using courtesy of SP. They have kept me from gaining weight and in fact, I have lost 3 pounds so far. 34 to go.

HI Nan and Sableness
I haven't checked my spark page in months and I guess I should as I missed your comments. Thank you both for writing!
I am doing better; getting stronger bit by bit. I started low impact cardio about a month ago. Can now do 25 minutes on an elliptical machine without the bones in my feet hurting too bad afterwards.
I am back to work so that has really impacted my working out. I am usually gone 11 to 12 hours a day between work and commuting, so I've taken to getting up before work and getting in my strength training so I am working out at least 3 days a week. I am also faithful about wearing my pedometer, so I try and increase my steps every week.

I hope you're both doing well and hitting your goals. Nan, you are on my friend feed and I enjoy your posts. I'm getting up and you've gone to bed, so it's fun to see what you accomplished that day before sacking out. It usually puts a smile on my face!

Hi. Your Goals section reminds me of likewise having had foot surgeries. I watched Sit and Be Fit to keep myself going. The hard part was not overindulging in all the good food my friends brought. Hope you're doing better now.
