I HAVE LOST - 40 pounds
I currently weigh 476 with my highest being 516 on 4/28/2009. I have tried many times to lose weight getting down to 458 then gaining it back. I do have supportive family & friends, but I need more. I'm an emotional salty eater. I'm tired of being stared at every time I go out.

I am not here to get a huge friends list of people who don't help. I would rather have a small group of people/friends who are willing to email, chat and help support each other even if its something you may not want to hear so please think about that before adding me as a friend. Thanks. I may not be a huge contributor to groups and such, but I am trying really hard to lose weight and don't want to get distracted on making my life better. For so long I have put others first and now it's time for me. A little selfishness can't hurt right? *smile*

Besides the basics up above, I am caring, honest, a great listener, a great personality, friendly, a procrastinator, I love to garden, swim, camp, have an occasional drink, chat, and watch movies. A normal day for me right now is usually at home with my friends online and either watching tv or listening to the radio. I want to change that though and get a tad bit more active.

Other than being severely morbidly obese. Gosh that sounds really bad. Well it is I guess, but I also have lymph edema in my legs and feet which make it hard to walk. My main goal besides losing weight is to try to get walking again. I am told as soon as I can get my weight down then the lymph edema will subside as well. As it is right now I huff and puff just to do 3 minutes on a treadmill and can't even walk a block down the street in fear that i will fall and won't be able to get up. I'm scared of a lot right now. Because of the swelling in my feet it makes my balance almost nil. I have made it my every effort to make sure I don't end up one of the unfortunate people who can't get out of their beds.
