In 2010 I weighed in at 290lbs, through the motivation of family, friends, and the Biggest Loser website; I now weigh 222. I went from a size 24 pants to a size 16. Most of my weight loss is due to portion control. I usually eat with a salad plate or saucer plate instead of regular size plate. I eat the same types of foods that me and my family like just smaller portions. Only seconds on fruits and vegetables. And lastly I got moving. I got off my recliner and started moving. Since I started my lifestyle change in January of 2011, I bought myself wii fit. I started by just doing 10 minutes a day and slowly increased my moving. Yesterday, I bought my first size 16 dress in the misses section in over 20 years. This is even smaller than my wedding dress. I am very proud of myself for this. I would not be able to accomplish this goal if it were not for the kind words of support and inspiration that I have received from the friends.
