My Goals:
My goal is to eat better and lose the weight that has been a struggle for years since i quit smoking 4 years ago, i have a heart condition now and i am going to let his heart of mine keep the new relief it received on January 17th, 2008. I want my doctor to know that i am doing my best to fulfill what he has given me.

My Program:
I am eating less amounts and watching contents of products that are bad for the system. I have learned to keep the salt shaker where it is suppose to stay! Out of reach!

Personal Information:
I live in New Mexico, i am a mother of 4 children and 11 grandchildren. I have two cats, a bird and two fish,,i am the outdoors type when i can be, i play musical instruments, non pedal steel guitar, Dobro and Acoustic. I love to go on nature walks, take many photos of nature and people who at least don't expect it,. My email address is

Other Information:
I love certain movies from the past, King of Kings is one of my favorites, i like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, To Kill A Mocking Bird and Raw Courage. i love to read Edgar Allen Poe poems and short stories, the Bible is one of most special books!

I started last June and by using Spark and some self discovery in the process, I'm down 25 pounds, and am holding steady at a healthy weight. Hello, I am so happy to see that you found your way here to Spark. This is such a wonderfully supportive community and I hope that you jump right in and learn to use the tools here. There is everything you need here to change your lifestyle and head on to better health, as well as making some really wonderful friends along the way.. Your page is just great and I wish you much success in your journey here. One thing that helps me is keeping my goals very small.. and, logging all my food in the nutrition log. I started out with 5 lb goals and keep my weigh tracker to reflect those goals.. I see you have signed up for a depression team.
