My weight has been yo-yo-ing all my adult life! And I'm really tired of it! I want to walk into a room and not feel self-conscious about my weight. After a lifetime of selecting clothes to conceal myself, I want to wear pretty clothes, try new activities & grab more gusto!

Update: I've been with SP for almost 5 yr. Lost the weight in 6 months. Rode the roller coaster of up & down the scale. Finally I'm ignoring the scale , making good food choices & exercising at least 30 min. 6 ...

Most important lesson learned: The bad habits that made me fat the first time (and the 128th time!) will make me fat again. This must be a permanent change in my life.


2013: After DH got a new knee & I returned to all my bad habits, I sat around & regained nearly all the weight I had lost.

Started over 3 weeks ago and am now on Day 20 of a streak of at least 30 min. of exercise 6 days/week. Feel better! Clothes fit better!

It's working...it always does. SP is the greatest! Just do it...and it feels soo great!

Current Status:
COLUMBINE2 DH & I rode bikes in the city! Awesome! Then I walked hotel halls for 20 min. while room was cleaned.

Personal Information:
I sold my business almost 5 years ago and retired early -- and I am no longer a workaholic! Hooray!

I live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of CO. I was strictly an "indoor girl", but now love to be outdoors & active --biking, hiking, snowshoeing. I've just discovered Zumba Gold & love it!

Other Information:
I love to travel, attend live theatre, read mysteries and read success stories on SP.
My husband & I have 2 grown sons.

Nancy, thank you for stopping by my page. Oh how miss fall in Colorado.. this year we stayed in Mexico all summer, so i missed that as well. Still we had a great time here, taking spanish lessons and playing pickle ball.
Your description gave me a small slice of my old life...

Thanks for your comment about healing instead of fighting the pain...that is great visualization advice and I will remember that!!! thank you! It was so painful last time that I'm trying not to be afraid of the pain. There has been a lot of progress in the surgery since then that I'm hopeful.

We got a bit more sun today and it was warmer, but temps are going to soar towards the end of the week. A balmy 25 C is predicted for Saturday. The overnight temps are decent too. I just might be foolish enough to try to go swimming. I would love to do that this time of year! I'm such an adventurer. LOL!!
