I'll just go into Columbine's kitchen while she's waiting in the car for me to leave!

My weight has been yo-yo-ing all my adult life! And I'm really tired of it! I want to walk into a room and not feel self-conscious about my weight. After a lifetime of selecting clothes to conceal myself, I want to wear pretty clothes, try new activities & grab more gusto!

My weight has been yo-yo-ing all my adult life! And I'm really tired of it! I want to walk into a room and not feel self-conscious about my weight. After a lifetime of selecting clothes to conceal myself, I want to wear pretty clothes, try new activities & grab more gusto!

Update: I've been with SP for almost 5 yr. Lost the weight in 6 months. Rode the roller coaster of up & down the scale. Finally I'm ignoring the scale , making good food choices & exercising at least 30 min. 6 days/week. Period.

Most important lesson learned: The bad habits that made me fat the first time (and the 128th time!) will make me fat again. This must be a permanent change in my life.

2013: After DH got a new knee & I returned to all my bad habits, I sat around & regained nearly all the weight I had lost.

Started over 3 weeks ago and am now on Day 20 of a streak of at least 30 min. of exercise 6 days/week. Feel better! Clothes fit better!

It's working...it always does. SP is the greatest! Just do it...and it feels soo great!

It's easy to get a lot of fitness minutes in when I clear brush at our ranch. I did 5 hours of such work on Tuesday alone!

Thank you so much for that advice. You are right - when I think about it, small steps esp getting back on track healthwise. You have also made some very good suggestions on how to do it which I am definitely going to take up. You have no idea how good it makes me feel esp the baby steps as I have been looking at the whole picture which looks like Mount Everest at the moment.
Many thanks and the very best wishes emoticon

Thank you so much for your support and care. We are feeling very blessed that Juliana's biopsy showed that her tumor was benign. But my step-mom was not so lucky and will have a double mastectomy on Monday.

Hope all is well with you.
