I am on my way to half my size. I began my journey at 243 lbs. :( But on my way to 120 lbs. :) ...and the journey unfolds...

In my first two years on SP (7/9/10-7/9/12), I lost 67 lbs of the 123 I desired to lose. Then, a job change derailed my progress. Stress and a sedentary job...I put all the weight back on. Now, I have begun again. I re-started at 247 lbs. I'm now down 23 pounds and continuing to find my way. I am now a member of OA and recovering One Day at a Time. My new abstinence from overeating is helping me to recover and lose the weight. I think my combo plan of God, SP, and OA will bring me to a healthy weight this time around.

My goals for 2016...
1. Getting back into Onederland.
2. Continue drinking my water (I gave up diet cola and drink water exclusively)
3. Become a freggie eater (eating 4 or more servings of fruits/veggies per day)
4. Incorporate a new exercise routine that works with my schedule and that I can be consistent with that includes strength and cardio exercise
5. Increase my walking and standing time...moving from completely sedentary to getting 10,000 steps daily
6. Complete my workout room...setting up a special workout room in my basement

So, the plan for Year 6...continue to track everything 100%. Continue drinking water. Pursue more freggies and exercise. Reward myself for accomplishments in these and other areas. Be good to myself. Spark on...let the remaining weight drop off...it will happen...I have to stay on the SP train...it is headed to my destination.

I am drinking water all day long.

I am sleeping 8 hrs nightly.

I am connecting with SparkPeople weekly, blogging and encouraging friends.

I am pushing to hit 10,000 steps daily tracked on my Fitbit daily.



Personal Information:
I'm from a small town in Ohio...near Cincinnati and Dayton.

I'm a mother and a wife...now a grandma, too!

I have three grown children...2 of which are married now. I have twin girls and a singlet son. I have 3 little granddaughters.

My family means everything to me.


Other Information:
I work full-time in accounting. I'm excited about getting my weight under control. It's been a real "monkey on my back." And I would love to be free of it...so that I can be all that I can be...physically and mentally. It's happening...I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    The best advice comes from the mouth of the Father Matt 6:25-34 . If He can do all of that which He does . I know the provision is there for you lean in hard and grab hold of the Truth Isaiah 55:11 seals the deal for me . He has this we don't ! I will add that Dave Ramsey says the we woman were created with an extra organ right under our hearts lol it's the one that needs the provisions met ! Ha when my DH heard this he tapped mine . I am the one who has to seek comfort when the finances aren't what I believe they should be ! I am learning if I trust and tell Him of my concerns I am may have to do a few times then I can let go and watch Him do what He wants to do ! Lord please make a way of provision for this family I know that You care about us , give my sweet Sister the peace to know You are not emoticon surprised by any of this
