Working on the best possible self I can be in 2016!

Make each day count! 2013 was another year of wonderful and sometimes terrifying things. The finish of my 46 High Peaks in New York State and the start of a new relationship with a man whose heart is full of love were my highlights. Two kitty surgeries and big vet bills were on the not so good list, but everyone is doing fine. My 2013 goals? I wanted to hike 20 High Peaks and ended up hiking 35. I have climbed countless scrambles and even cliffs, and I made amazing friends in the process. I lost 15 pounds, but in the advent of a new relationship, put some back on. Time to go back to work ! The only goal not accomplished was my series 53, but I am determined to knock that baby off. 2012 was a year, full of unexpected, amazing and sometimes terrifying things. I did things I never thought I would do and got to check a travel destination off my bucket list, just to put it back on immediately. I kayaked the Saguenay Fjord in Quebec and fell in love with that beautiful place.

It was hard to say good-bye to 2012, but I am full of excitement for 2013. I will build on last year's accomplishments and will go harder and higher. My fitness goals will be a lot more fun 20 pounds lighter. My goal is to have that accomplished by my Birthday in April. I know I CAN do it, and I will fight so nothing holds me back.

Here is how it stands as of now. Snowshoe and or downhill ski once a week.
Yoga once a week.
Butts and Gutts once a week. Regular gym time twice a week.

To have what you have never had, you have to do what you have never done before.

If I train harder than I have ever trained, my body will take me places I have never been.
