I am lucky to be a SAHM of three boys, ages12, 9 and 7. I am almost 32 and want to be healthier than what I am now. I have had many goals that I have failed to meet over the past few years, but I will meet them now. I need to stay focused and get healthy for my own sanity as well as my family. No more excuses.

My Goals:
My goals are to get healthy and feel great about myself, something I haven't done in about 8 years. My ultimate weight goal is 140-145, which I haven't been since high school.

My goal for may is to get out of the 180's. I can be close if I lose around 1.2 pounds a week, which I should be able to do if I stick to my plan.

Goal weight:
July 31: 175

My Program:
Exercise DVD's, hiking the hills on our farm, jogging/walking, push mowing the grass all summer.

Exercise at least 30 minutes 5-6 days a week.

Strength train 2-3 days a week.

Do ab exercises at least 5 minutes a day

Eating as many fruits and veggies as possible a day

Continue drinking as much water as possible.

Getting outside and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Great!! What seems to work for me is playing a bit of a mind-game with myself: telling myself that it's temporary. If you love bread and cheese you probably can't realisitically give them up forever and if you try to you will rebel and eat them (well, I would anyway, haha). But if you challenge yourself to say no to them for a set period of time you may be more likely to stick with that. Best of luck!!
