Me, 1/15/2012, with Greta (German Shorthair) and Jake (lab). About #325.
Kelvin and Me, November 2010 Mountain Trail show.
I have a farm, with my husband, in the Pacific Northwest. I'm also a practicing attorney with a rural estate planning and business law practice. I've had some setbacks, including a bad car wreck, but I'm determined to live healthier and happier.
LIVE my life, not just go through the motions until I die.
I eat mostly whole foods and home cooking, try to avoid processed stuff.
I always do better when I track, as my eating can be emotionally triggered and I lose accountability if I'm not tracking.
Exercise: Walk, hike, stationary bike, yoga
Have a farm in the coastal foothills in Oregon. We grow and sell hay and seasonally run stocker cattle for a local grass fed angus beef program. I have an AQHA gelding currently rehabbing from a ligament injury.

Just stopping by to thank you for your blogs in June and wishing you a great July from the Country Living Team

Thanks so much for stopping by my page and commenting on 2 of my blogs! We are very proud of Fancy and what she has become, she really loves what she is doing and has a wonderful home for the rest of her life. She is in top shape right now, too!
The Historic Fort Worth Stock Show is, of course, an institution here. It is typical "Old West" where working horses really work and the cowboys are authentic! The ranch horse demonstration was very impressive, those horses could do almost anything! They sell for thousands of dollars in an otherwise weak horse market!

Glad you enjoyed my blog about the colt. We are really proud of him and his new owner. We knew we were not going to get a fair shake when Magen started this thing, but were proud of her for trying. She did a great job!
Yes, this year will be hard, are you the only child? Good for you, joining those associations. I had never heard of them but also had never heard of the competitions you are riding in, think they are amazing!
Keep me posted on everything!

One year later, I went back to the picture of you on your horse, and read what you wrote to me under the picture! I never thought about looking there for a reply! Ha Ha!! I love dilutes too (bet you couldn't tell) Our stallion is one of the best known Paint dilute stallions in the breed! I had always wanted to breed a mare to him, and now, we own him!
Thanks for the compliments on my horses. I believe that conformation and disposition come first, then, you can worry about the color! I have never bought a horse JUST for the color...... I had some friends who did once, and were THEY ever sorry!
